The Smart Doula

I am a Virtual Doula in Leeds, providing bespoke evidence-based support to families who want an empowering birth around the country.
With 10 years plus of clinical research experience, some in the NHS and in pharma. A biomedical science degree, and two hospital births under my belt, I use my knowledge to support you as your virtual doula.
My main purpose as your virtual doula is to help you make informed decisions about your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I provide continuity of care and emotional support throughout your pregnancy and birth should you choose.
I help with birth preparation, including mindset, birth planning and practicalities!
I support all types of birth as a birth doula, including hospital births, home births, inductions, elective cesereans and free births.
I will help you to navigate the guidelines you may come up against including NICE guidelines, RCOG and trust specific guidelines.

I have completed my Doula certification with award winning Red Tent and I am on the Doula Uk registry.
